Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care is a branch of the medical field that concerns itself with the spine and nervous system. Your spine has 24 freely movable bones, and in between each one of these bones there is a spinal nerve. These spinal nerves connect your brain to every part of your body—every single organ, cell and tissue—and if there are misalignments in the spine, it puts pressure on those nerves and causes those areas of the body to become less healthy. Over time, this results in disease.
Our job at RiverTowne Family Chiropractic is to check your posture, evaluate your spine and nervous system, and identify any areas of subluxation or nervous interference. We then apply a chiropractic adjustment (a specific thrust) into that area to put the bone back in place and remove the pressure on the nerve. When the nerve interference is removed, your body can heal itself.
